Onio was unquiet. He wanted to paint.

What better could happen to him on a sunny Sunday afternoon than a legal wall to jam with Dutch artists?

Better than that, he painted in front of the lens of the super photojournalist Martha Cooper, the woman behind nearly all of the documentation of the beginning of graffiti in New York in the 70’s and 80’s!!

A little bit more Street Science

The local painters invited the guys to join them in bringing life to the walls of a Rotterdam institution, the Hip Hop House. Ramon, Onio and Stile gladly accepted and spent an afternoon painting alongside several Dutch locals enjoying a luxurious lunch buffet and even a visit from esteemed local authority, the police.

Meeting of generations

It’s always nice to see old school and new school artists coming together. It’s even nicer to see it happening on a wall, with different colours and shapes coming to life. Speto and Gais represented at Street Science Festival and left a beautiful piece with some help of Lastplak and other local writers from Rotterdam.

Street Science Jam

Graffiti artists always urge to paint. Even going to bed very late the night before, Gais, Dalata, Stile and Speto were up at 8 a.m. to get cans to paint a collective wall in the centre of Rotterdam. The wall was organized by the super cool hip hop festival Street Science, and artists from all over Holland were there. As it couldn’t be different a lot of curious people stopped by to check it out, and got totally surprised with the unexpected Brazilian style. Big up to our boyz! Big up to Street Science!
